About ToolVerdict Lab
ToolVerdict Lab is an independent testing project for one thing: the online-business tools solopreneurs, independent creators, and cross-border small sellers actually run on — sales funnels, email marketing, online courses, booking, payments, and the AI marketing layer on top.
Most tool “reviews” on the internet are rewritten feature pages. Ours aren’t.
The method
- Register for real. A fresh account, with a real workflow in mind — no demo mode, no vendor-provided access.
- Build for real. We create the funnel, send the email, upload the course, click every button a customer would.
- Record it. Screenshots, timestamps, prices as they appeared, and the mistakes we made along the way.
- Say what we didn’t test. If we compare a tool we haven’t hands-on tested, we say so. Verdicts are only as honest as their limits.
What we publish
- Judgment pages — is this tool worth it, who it’s for, who it’s not for.
- Comparisons — A vs B vs C for a specific stage and budget.
- Best lists — short, focused lists for one-person businesses.
Why trust us
We’re small, we’re indie, and we have nothing to protect. We update pages when pricing or behavior changes, and we mark the date every verdict was last checked. When a tool disappoints us, we publish that too.
