The honest note about test photos: I did not want to upload real personal photos, so the input was an AI-generated fictional person. Aragon's checker rejected a portion of them — which is actually the finding: Aragon actively gates AI-generated input, so you really should use real, clear, front-facing photos of yourself. Where it tripped me (the honest part)
- The flagship pack is paywalled — no free evaluation. You can walk the whole flow free, but generating actual professional headshots requires $35+. The free credits only cover the creative photo packs. If you want to judge the core product before paying, you can't.
- AI-generated photos get rejected. My AI-generated test photos were flagged by the photo checker ("too similar", "unnatural angle"). Aragon's own guidance lists AI-generated images as restricted input — so if you were hoping to cheat the system with synthetic photos, don't: it checks.
- Free-credit output is decent, not amazing. The creative-pack generation looked realistic and didn't feel template-y, but was a bit soft on detail. The paid professional pack likely produces better results (we didn't pay to verify).
